Creative Industries Research and innovation
The Faculty of Creative Industries carries out the research in various scientific fields as well as the interdisciplinary research on the subject of creativity.
The main areas - humanitarian and social sciences. Communication and information, sociology, educational studies, philosophy, art criticism, philology and political science methodology is applied for the analysis of the field of creativity.
In addition to the field of creativity, the Faculty of Creative Industries employees participate in cultural, linguistic, socio-linguistics, education systems research that analyzes other aspects of social life and history.
The priority field of scientific research for lecturers and scientists of VGTU Faculty of Creative Industries is “Management and Economy of Technologies”. The focus is on the topic of creative industries.
 Under this topic, the following issues are investigated:
  • The development of creative industries in Lithuania and its relation to the formation of global creative society.
  • Creative industries and creative society discourses.
  • Self-perception and perspective of creators who lay the foundations for creative industries and creative society.
 In the context of sustainability, which covers socio-economic systems, the following research has been carried out.
  • Sustainable factors of culture in socio-economic systems.
  • Sustainability of language systems and their transformation in the development of intercultural society.
  • Communication in the development of creative society.
